Half term activities with the Living Levels
Published: 28 May 2021
Something a bit different this week in terms of events news – they’re all outside(ish)!
We’re gradually returning to the great Levels’ outdoors with activities, albeit with limited numbers and subject to continuing Covid-19 guidelines. There’s the chance to spend a couple of hours with entomologist Liam Olds at Tredegar House parkland next week followed by the return of our friends at DigVentures for some archaeological fun – including the chance for you to discover the past in your own backyard…
So get booking!
Pollinator Guided Walk at Tredegar House parkland Wednesday June 2nd 10.30am – 12.30pm
Join entomologist Liam Olds of Buglife Cymru (and as seen on TV) for a couple of hours of pollinator discovery in the beautiful gardens and parkland of Tredegar House, Newport. Learn about the different types of pollinating insects and how to identify them, including bumblebees, solitary bees, hoverflies and others.
Booking is essential as numbers are extremely limited. This event will be subject to Covid-19 guidelines which you will receive as part of your booking along with meeting arrangements.
