Grounds and Facilities Officer Vacancy

Rogiet Community Council have a vacancy for a Grounds and Facilities Officer.  The role will involve working within the village, including at the pavilion and playing fields, as well as work outside of the village area.  The role is part time (8 hours per week) and will require flexibility and a driving licence and own car.  Click here for an application pack and further information.

Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA)

The multi-use games area can be used for basketball, tennis, or netball (as long as Covid restrictions do not apply at time of use).  The area remains unlocked for public use at any time.  The games area may be hired to individuals who would like to ensure availability, or for group activity bookings.

Hire of the games area as at March 2021 are £1.50 per hour for individual use.

Cost of hire for businesses providing fitness classes - £20 per session (no set time length).

Sports Pitch

The sports pitch is used by Severn Tunnel FC for their home matches, but is available for hire at other times. 

Once Covid restrictions allow, the changing facilities at Rogiet Hub can also be booked.

 Rogiet Hub

Rogiet Hub contains changing facilities and a social room.  The social room is used during term time by a day nursery, but (when Covid restrictions no longer apply) can be hired on weekends and evenings.

Room hire is currently £10 per hour, to be reviewed in May 2021.
